Hi!
My name is Loll Newman and I live in Worcester.
For five years I was a vintage trader, having my own shop in Worcester for three years and also selling at fairs and markets under the name of Toadstool Vintage. Since I stopped trading I've continued to have a love for collecting and hunting for anything old and interesting. I've been very lucky to carry this on in my work as I now work part time for a local auction house. It's mainly taking care of general admin and marketing but I also get the chance to catalogue items and assist in house clearances etc.
When I'm not working I spend a lot of my time being a bit of a Womble and scouring charity shops, flea markets and antique shops for treasures. I have an obsession with all things knitted and crocheted as well as old cameras, tins (the prettier and the rustier the better!), vintage and antique brooches and pretty much anything old and kitsch. I'm also a bit of a hippy at heart and love all things 1970s.
I have been meaning to start a diary for years now and have never got around to it so this is going to be my way of writing down and remembering my thoughts and adventures.
